QodeX Quantum makes quantum-accelerated computing accessible to engineers and researchers who shouldn't need a quantum physics PhD to benefit from it. Our platform lets professionals in aerospace, defense, and beyond tap into quantum machine learning to solve problems that push classical computing to its limits starting with computational fluid dynamics, where simulations that take days could take minutes.
Founded by a previously exited founder and three PhDs who led Quantum Machine Learning research for the U.S. Navy, we're backed by IBM Ventures and are part of the Creative Destruction Lab and Alchemist accelerator programs. As an early member of our team, you won't just be building a product. You'll be shaping the technical foundation of a company working to make quantum computing practically useful for across many industries.
We are looking for our Founding Engineer to work directly alongside our co-founder and CTO. We have quantum expertise, but are looking for someone product and architecture minded to help build and scale the core systems behind our platform. This is a full stack role covering the entire breadth of our customer journey. As an early engineer, you will work across the product, infrastructure, backend services, tooling, and architecture, while bringing an architecturally minded and product-aware perspective. Within your first year, you'll own the architecture decisions that take our platform from research prototype to production-grade product" would make it more compelling.
You’ll operate in a fast-moving, early-stage environment where priorities can change quickly. We’re looking for someone flexible, collaborative, and excited by ambiguity. The role also emphasizes an AI-driven development mindset using AI tools to accelerate work, paired with the judgment to know when those tools fall short. Clear communication, strong instincts, and being easy to work with matter as much as technical skill at this stage.
